Michael Croes formed Crow’s Massage in 2013 to work with athletes, people suffering from muscular and joint dysfunction, pre/post natal care and the general stress of daily life.
Drawing on years of experience teaching massage and private practice Michael believes in approaching injuries and treatments in a different way, with individual treatment plans for each client to improve their overall health as well as addressing specific therapeutic needs.
Before forming Crow’s Massage, Michael was the program director at the Institute for Therapeutic Massage where he wrote curriculum for the oncology massage and eastern and western programs. Michael oversaw the eastern massage program including lecturing on Chinese medicine and Shiatsu massage. Michael has been a guest lecturer and educator for the University of Medicine and Dentistry at Rutgers University in the complimentary and alternative medicine program.
Michael received his certifications from the Shiatsu Clinic & School in 2002, with a focus on Shiatsu and Chinese medicine and The Institute for Therapeutic Massage in 2007, with a focus on western anatomy and pathology. Since 2007, Michael has been licensed and practicing in the state of New York.
